great publication Nathan, i will repost again onto my fb, its precise, its factual, its educational and up to date and specifically deals with each occurrence in an easy to understand definition of what took place, so whether the reader has a PHD or doctorate degree, or a high school grad or someone with little to no formal education, its clear and precise in a format that is quite simple for all to grasp…thanks for sharing it 🙂

The term “refugee” has lost most of its punch because of things like artificially created and economic refugees. Now it’s easy, and maybe even desirable to be a refugee.

I have read that there have been some 500,000,000 (500 million) refugees since the second world war – it is possible but the number now quoted is closer to 50,000,000 (50 million). The difference may be in the definition or in the fact that many refugees are internally displaced and eventually they return to their homes. It would seem that the artificially created inter-generational Palestinian refugee issue will only be resolved if UNRWA is abolished.
